Unlike most tutors, Tomi actually listens and takes his time to explain whatever you don’t understand, especially the particularly difficult topics. During the first lockdown, I was struggling with A-Level maths and mechanics revision. I found it hard to transition to studying online until I came across Tomi, who massively helped me all the way until my entry year at uni and left me well prepared for my Engineering degree.

Tomi’s not like any other tutor. He connects with you far more than some old sixty-year-old would, and by building that relationship it lets you learn better because you actually have fun learning. Learning with him becomes less of a chore. He knows the content very well and can explain it in an understandable way, and he is very approachable, so you never feel awkward about asking questions. He is great at what he does, so please consider him. I don’t think I would have gotten my A*s without him.

Tomi tutored me in mathematics and physics and is definitely one of the main reasons I managed to get into my desired university after getting DDE in my A-Level mocks. I benefited a lot from having a younger tutor because he had studied what I was studying only a couple of years before — he was far more familiar with what I was going through than the other tutors I tried, which was very confidence-boosting for me as a struggling student. Tomi is an excellent tutor and I’d highly recommend him to anyone who could do with some help in their studies.

Passed GCSE Maths at a high grade

My time being tutored by Tomi was amazing. Even for topics I really struggled with and could never understand before, I really felt myself beginning to grasp them. Tomi explains things in such an easy way to understand and helpfully draws diagrams, which worked especially well for me as a visual learner. He never once made me feel bad for not understanding a concept, and I felt thoroughly supported throughout. At the start I was highly anxious about my maths GCSE and did not feel ready at all. By the end I walked into my exams confidently and could easily do topics I previously could not even touch. I ended up passing my maths GCSE with a pretty high grade, and I would one hundred per cent recommend Tomi.

Five out of five — an amazing tutor. Helped me throughout my GCSEs and my AS levels, and I ended up getting an A in maths and physics. He’s really easy going and a great teacher, explains everything well, walks you through the questions and anything you’re stuck on, always on time and has a great attitude. Couldn’t recommend more.
