GCSE Physics Tuition

Specialist one-to-one online GCSE Physics tuition, whether your child sits combined science or separate (triple) physics.

Taught by Tomi and Timi

Physics clicks when the ideas connect, so we teach it as a story rather than a list of facts to memorise. Forces explain motion, energy ties it all together, and the maths is simply the language we use to describe it.

Lessons are one-to-one and tailored to your child’s exam board and tier. We lean on clear diagrams and worked examples — the same approach that has helped students go from dreading physics to genuinely enjoying it.

What we cover

  • Energy — stores, transfers and efficiency
  • Electricity — circuits, charge and the National Grid
  • Particle model of matter and density
  • Atomic structure and radioactivity
  • Forces, motion and Newton's laws
  • Waves, light and sound
  • Magnetism and electromagnetism
  • Required practicals and the maths skills examiners look for

Common questions

Is this for combined science or triple physics?

Both. We tailor the depth and the topic list to whichever your child is taking, and we're happy to support the physics content within combined science too.

My child struggles with the maths in physics — can you help?

Yes, and it's one of the most common things we help with. We build up the calculation skills — rearranging equations, units and standard form — until the numbers stop being the scary part.

Do you cover the required practicals?

We do. Examiners test the practicals every year, so we make sure your child understands the method, the variables and the typical exam questions around each one.

Do you prepare students for the exams?

Yes — alongside the content we work on exam technique, past papers and mark schemes, so your child can turn what they know into marks.
